“A mural therefore exists to express an idea or message and could generally be seen as reflecting values held dear to that community” Murals have become symbols of Northern Ireland, depicting the region’s past and present political and religious divisions. To celebrate our screening of Northern Irish Graffiti documentary ‘Together in Pieces’ NCC has a full day of Graffiti inspired events as we’ve teamed up with Seedhead Arts to bring you a live ‘Graffiti’ demos with seven local artists donning their work on the walls of NCC. Taking us into the early evening we’ll be showcasing some of the finest ‘Graffiti’ inspired short films and docs culminating in an exclusive screening of ‘Together in Pieces’.

Watch local graffiti artists showcase their skills as they create a series of commissioned graffiti on the streets of Newcastle.
