An almost perfect family favourite, and an unforgettable tale of a friendship literally larger than life!

ZOO is based on a true story, of how during the war in 1941, under order from the Office for Public Security, marksmen entered Belfast Zoo to put down the animals inside, as a safety procedure for the general public while the Luftwaffe airstrikes jeopardised the city.  As the tragic cull began, a woman in plain sight walked  amongst the carnage & somehow rescued & walked a young elephant from the zoo each evening to the backyard of her home where she looked after & cared for it. The film tells the incredible tale of Tom & his friends, as they undertake the adventure of concealing and looking after baby elephant Buster.

A top notch cast delivers a sweet, uncomplicated treat for animal lovers & families everywhere.
