Sandra, a German writer, her French husband Samuel, & their eleven-year-old son Daniel have lived a secluded life in a remote town in the French Alps. When Samuel is found dead in the snow below their chalet, the police question whether he died by suicide or was killed.

Tough questions and decisions follow. Sharp, sophisticated, stylish cinema, that snakes around the audience, blindsiding at will. Sandra Hueller as Sandra in particular shines, but the whole work is just first class filmmaking. A real treat.
