The Ghostbusters franchise is in safe hands with director Jason Reitman (son of original Ghostbusters director Ivan, who recently sadly passed away) with this fan- pleasing doozy, packed with brilliant nods to the first two films and some very welcome cameos. More character-driven than previous efforts, the evergreen Paul Rudd leads a young cast of up-and-comers, and the plot is engaging without feeling forced. Bustin’ still makes us all feel good, it seems.
