TRAD – with Live Music

In association with Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann (CCE), join us for a special celebration of Irish music, culture and storytelling with Trad. This new film explores the enduring power of traditional music and the communities that keep it alive, capturing the spirit, passion and heritage that continue to resonate across generations. Before the screening, enjoy a live performance from local musicians, bringing the music off the screen and into the room. A warm, uplifting evening of film and song, celebrating a tradition that connects Ireland with the world.

This tour of TRAD is brought to you by Collective, an initiative from Film Hub NI and Queen's Film Theatre that brings the best of homegrown film directly to audiences. Presented as part of the Fleadh at Queen's programme in July and August, the tour celebrates Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2026 coming to Belfast for the first time and the rich tradition of Irish music and heritage.
